Samuel Newton Bio:

    Samuel D. Newton was born in Tifton, Georgia on January 22, 1948. He attended Wilson Elementary and Industrial Elementary and High School before he moved to Florida in 1962. Sam attended Gifford High School in Gifford, Fl, just north of Vero Beach. It was there that he began his painting career with his brother, Harold Newton.

    Sam now lives in Merritt Island, Fl with his wife Monica, daughter Samurai, and stepsons Kentia and Joseph. Sam also has a son Sam Jr., who lives in Cocoa and three children who reside in Ft. Pierce, daughter Alice, sons Dwayne and Tracy. Tracy is carrying on in the Newton painting tradition in the next generation as is daughter Samurai.
